Trusted by parents
for more than 65 years

Nursery® water was created in 1948 at the request of Dr. Herman Bundesen who, as director of Chicago's Health Department, was concerned about the purity of the municipal drinking water for use with baby formulas.

Today, we continue the commitment to careful monitoring and evaluation of our bottled water, since your child's well-being is our top priority.

Nursery takes pride in the generations of children who have grown to adulthood over the past six decades. We are grateful for your interest and loyalty to our brand.

Purified through steam distillation

Nursery® water, processed by steam distillation, reassures you with our comprehensive purification process.

An initial filtration process removes contaminants and particles. Then, steam distillation removes remaining impurities and restores the drinking water to its purest form: H2O. Finally, an infusion of ozone removes any remaining bacteria.

Nursery water adheres to rigorous, quality standards in compliance with all applicable state and federal bottled water regulations. In addition to plant inspections by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and independent third-party organizations, such as the National Sanitation Foundation International, Nursery conducts routine, internal audits to meet all applicable food and bottled water rules and regulations.

Fluoride and your child

Some parents are unclear about whether they should provide their children with Nursery® water with or without added fluoride. It is best to ask your physician or dental professional which one is right for your children and make the best choice for you.
